Belojača cave is located at the border between the Poljčane and Makole counties. With 550 m of tunnels, it’s one of the longest karst caves in Haloze. In the valley of the Šega stream, next to an abandoned mine, lies the small cave entrance. Years ago, an intriguing local climbing location emerged in front of it, marked by a large overhang. Due to the overhang you’re able to climb even when rain is pouring. The climbing routes at the location go up to difficulty level 8b. Mountain guide Milan Romih was able to finish his project after numerous attempts, and completed the “Let nad krokarjevim gnezdom” (“Flight Above the Crows Nest”) route, which has a difficulty of 7c.
